Dr John Greenland

Founder

Dr John Greenland opened Greenland Dental in 1982. John spent over three decades caring for the dental needs of Caboolture and the surrounding areas. He has a very conservative approach to dentistry and always has his patients’ best interests at heart. John has always been committed to ensuring that each patient walks away happy with the service they receive.

John is currently enjoying his retirement. Though he is no longer seeing patients, he has imparted his practice philosophy onto the team of Caboolture dentists now leading Greenland Dental. The dentists have drawn on his wealth of experience to ensure you receive the best dental care possible.

Dr Catherine Chow

Dr Catherine Chow

Dentist

Dr Catherine knows a visit to the dentist can make people a little nervous, which is why she takes a gentle, comforting approach to dentistry. After graduating with Honours from the University of Queensland and working in rural South Australia, Dr Catherine returned home to Queensland in 2019 to begin work at Greenland Dental. She has loved working with the team in a relaxed environment ever since and focuses on providing conservative treatment and the long-term maintenance of a healthy smile.

When Dr Catherine isn’t busy treating patients, you might find her working away in the kitchen with some baking. Always searching for interesting new recipes, Dr Catherine brings in the results to test out on the team, proving that dentists can sometimes be sweet tooths too!

Dr Catherine also enjoys spending time with family and friends, delving into photography or travelling – particularly to places with very cold winters in contrast to her beloved Brisbane during summer.

Dr Bianca Chai

Dentist

Caboolture dentist, Dr Bianca, has called Brisbane home for the past eight years after graduating with Honours in Dental Science from the University of Queensland. Dr Bianca left her childhood home of Malaysia to pursue tertiary education in Australia, and she loves every bit of her time in the Sunshine State.

Dr Bianca is passionate about helping her patients live a high quality of life through dental care. Improving and increasing awareness of oral health among her patients is something Dr Bianca does each day, taking time to clearly communicate treatment options and welcoming any questions her patients may have. Dr Bianca is known for her warm and gentle nature, and she ensures her patients feel comfortable and relaxed during every visit to our family dental clinic.

Outside of work, you can find Bianca keeping busy with a range of activities at her local church, catching up with friends or enjoying her time off at home. One of Dr Bianca’s hidden talents is speaking fluent English and Mandarin.

Dr Lina

Dr Lina Zhou

Dentist

Caboolture dentist, Dr Lina, has been working with Greenland Dental since late 2021 and has quickly become a trusted practitioner with our patients. A proud local North-sider, Dr Lina completed her dental training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours. She firmly believes prevention is always better than cure and strives to practice minimally invasive dentistry.

You will find she takes the time to help patients improve their self-care routine and only provides necessary dental treatment. Her gentle and pain-free approach ensures she is beloved by patients, young and old.

Dr Lina can also speak Mandarin fluently to service those who are more comfortable with speaking Mandarin. When not in the Caboolture dental clinic, Dr Lina will be making art, gardening, or dancing to all kinds of music.

Dr Hannah Kwang

Dentist

With an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Science, Dr Hannah takes immense pleasure in her role, striving to ensure that each patient leaves our clinic feeling better than when they first walked in. She is committed to helping her patients enhance their smiles and gain confidence through preventative dentistry education and has a special interest in children’s dentistry.

Dr Hannah’s commitment to serving extends beyond her professional life, as she actively participates in her church community during her spare time. Her passion for working with children is evident in her gentle approach, which creates a serene and comfortable atmosphere for all her patients.

Caitlin Gallagher

Caitlin

Practice Manager

When a family friend recommended applying for a role as a dental assistant, Caitlin wasn’t sure it would be the right fit for her. Fast forward more than six years to today, and Caitlin absolutely loves the world of dentistry. Caitlin has experienced most facets of the practice and enjoys learning new things and taking on new responsibilities.

Caitlin particularly loves working with an array of different people and upskilling in new areas – it’s definitely a job she is never bored in because no two days are the same. Helping patients become more comfortable visiting the dentist and getting to know regular Caboolture Dental patients is a key reason Caitlin loves her job at Greenland Dental.

Apart from being super organised (A very important quality in her role as Practice Manager!), Caitlin enjoys camping trips, staying active and spending time with her family.

Lillyana

Dental Assistant

Delving into the many interesting areas of dental nursing, plus making patients feel at ease, are just some of the reasons Lillyana loves working at our family dental clinic.

She’s our resident smart-cookie, having just begun a dual degree in science and mathematics at the University of Queensland, Lillyana would love to study astrophysics and quantum mechanics. She finds learning new things fun, and one of the aspects of dental assisting she enjoys the most is predicting what the dentist might need next which makes the appointments flow smoothly from start to finish.

Lillyana loves reading and all forms of art, and as you can probably tell from her university studies she has a passion for learning, specifically about the body and science. Hanging out with friends and family is also important to her when at work or studying.

Tia

Dental Assistant

Tia is a dental assistant at Greenland Dental. She has been an assistant for over a year. Meeting new people is one of Tia’s favourite aspects of her job. She has a sweet and warm manner and has the ability to make all our patients feel at ease. Tia understands that the dentist is not the funnest place to be so she endeavours to create a calm and stress-free atmosphere for each and every one of our patients.

Tia is currently studying to be a nurse. She loves learning new things and her role here at our family dental clinic perfectly complements her healthcare studies.

In her spare time, you’ll find Tia keeping fit at the gym and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Liarna

Dental Assistant

Liarna started her dental assisting journey with us in June of 2022 and has since settled in nicely as our newest member of the Greenland Dental family. The unique nature of the position as well as the variety in each day is what initially enticed Liarna to test the waters as a dental assistant. With a keen and enthusiastic mindset, she has flourished in learning all aspects of her job and eagerly takes on a challenge.

Liarna looks forward to making meaningful changes to everyday lives and strives to ensure her patients feel comfortable during their visit. With her easy-going nature, she is someone you will instantly enjoy talking to and trust to have by your side.

In her own time, you can almost certainly find Liarna outdoors. Whether it be at the beach or in the bush, being surrounded by nature is where she enjoys most of her time. She lives by the sentiment that life is better with friends and takes every chance to spend her free time with those dearest to her.

Rachel

Dental Assistant

Originally from Far North Queensland, Rachel is a valued member of our Greenland Dental Family.

She joined the dental industry in 2015 and has gained a wealth of experience over the years. She is an all-rounder and you will find her both behind the reception desk as well as assisting our dentists chairside.

One thing that stands out when you meet Rachel is her warm and welcoming personality. She is a people person and naturally makes everyone feel at ease. Rachel loves that there is always something new to learn in the dental world and how everyday challenges her in a different way.

Rachel has an array of hobbies, some of which are spending time with family & friends, and hanging out with her partner and Aussie shepherd at the beach. She is also an avid traveller, always seeking new adventures and experiences.

Ollie

Dogtor of Fluffy Cuddles

Ollie is our four-legged receptionist here at Greenland Dental. He is working hard supporting our Caboolture dentists and learning how to be Chief of our Welcoming Committee.

Ollie consistently demonstrates enthusiasm and zest for his work, sharing his love and fluffiness with everyone he meets. Although, at times he can be caught napping on the job (being cute is tiring!!… don’t you know?).

Ollie can be found behind the front desk during the day. Being a cavoodle, he is hypoallergenic and does not shed fur. This makes it easy for us to comply with our strict infection control protocols needed to be an accredited dental practice.

He is at our family dental clinic almost every day putting our patients at ease. Let us know if you would like to say hi when you attend your next appointment!

Outside of work, some of Ollie’s favourite things to do are walkies, chewing on his favourite stuffed toys and last but not least… eating (he sure does love his treatos!).

Highly recommend!
Thankyou so much Dr Catherine Chow, forever greatful you took a chance on helping me when noone else would, including both private and public hospital.
I still can't believe you were able to pull this extraction off so quickly and complication free, truely a testament to your skills.

Chantelle Wardrop

I have just had my first appointment at Greenland Dental. WOW! What a great team. From the reception staff to treating staff, they were all such a pleasure.
Dr Catherine was very thorough, not only working on the tooth I was there to receive treatment on, but identifying some other problematic teeth and providing options for future treatment. I will definitely be returning for future procedures.
