Bupa Members First Platinum: Making Preventative Dental Care More Accessible

Do you avoid seeing the dentist? Our patients often tell us they avoid coming to the dentist because of a genuine fear from a past experience, but most often it’s because of financial worries. Dental treatment, particularly preventative care, is often perceived as very expensive and not attainable for the average family.

In the interest of making preventative care more accessible for our patients, we have partnered with Bupa to give eligible members gap free preventative dental services. As a Members First Platinum Network provider, our practice ensures eligible Bupa patients will receive no gap on the 12 most common preventative dental services, including routine checkups and mouthguards.

Seeing the dentist for preventative care keeps your mouth healthy and your teeth in good condition. Periodic dental visits ensure we can treat dental problems in the initial stages, when treatment is less expensive and the long term results are better. Periodic dental visits are also critical when it comes to the early detection of oral cancer. In many cases, oral cancer is completely curable if detected early.

As a recognised provider our practice ensures Bupa members receive 100% rebate on preventative services and between 60% and 100% rebate on all other services (depending on your level of cover). Yearly limits and restrictions do apply depending on your agreement with Bupa.
